Cocobolo Moon Box

This was a lovely commission to make a presentation box for an exquisite silver moon, just 25mm in diameter.

I used a 25mm stainless steel bearing to test for a perfect fit.

The solid stainless steel hinges echoed the silver of the moon and contrasted well with the rich colours of the Cocobolo.

The moon is a stunning example of work by a very gifted silversmith.
